I did it kids! I got through the 60-minute run from this week’s training! All week I was really worried I wouldn’t make it because I’m still nursing a shin splint on my left leg. But I was able to run for 60 minutes straight and for 6 miles—the longest time and distance I’ve ever done. I am pretty stoked about my accomplishment.
This week I have a 70-minute run, which makes me only slightly apprehensive, but I should be able to take care of it. There’s only a few more weeks left before the race. I’m really looking forward to it and to see what kind of race time I can put down.

Tuesday – Run 50 minutes
Wednesday – Off
Thursday – Run 35 minutes
Friday – Off
Saturday – Run 70 minutes
Sunday – Off
