So I was minding my own business, on my second day at the office, and I get a call from my friend. I listen to the message and I WAS HACKED! That’s right, Arabic Hackers chose me as a lovely recipient of hacking on this fine Tuesday morning. As you can only imagine, I was not at all happy about it. I immediately informed my hosting company of the situation, hoping that it would be rectified while I toiled the afternoon away. However, that was not the case. Five hours later when I returned home, the hosting server had sent me an e-mail letting me know they viewed the incident as a low priority.
I have since then changed hosting companies and reinstalled my sites. (Well, actually about half of them as it seems to be a pretty big job!) In hindset, I should’ve taken a screenshot of the hacking to keep but I didn’t think of it in my frantic frustration. Beware the bored and weary.
