I had my first ever fondue experience courtesy of La Petite Tricoteuse and The Captain. I have to admit, I was a little nervous. You see, I have problems with cheese. I like the basics: cheddar, mozzarella, parmesan. And I like it cold on a sandwich, or melted on pizza. But other varieties and consistencies scare me. I think it started as a texture thing. And I definitely don’t like smelly cheeses. So when La Petite Tricoteuse invited me and Mandy over for a home cooked fondue meal to thank us in advance for Tony Danza (the ferret) sitting, I questioned my ability to eat that much cheese.
Well, as I’m sure many of you cheese fans expected, I. Loved. It. It was so delicious. And then there was meat. That’s right ladies and gents. Meat and it was tasty. Especially with The Captain’s homemade dipping sauces. I really liked the mayo, curry and cumin mixture. Yummy! Tasty! So thanks guys! It was dee-lish-us!
You are very welcome my love 🙂
