Well, most of it’s striped. These were all made from patterns in Debbie Stoller’s Stitch ‘n Bitch Crochet: The Happy Hooker, with some minor adaptations to make them go together. The hat is the Anarchy Irony Hat I blogged about earlier. The scarf is the Stripes (and Stripes) Forever scarf and follows the color scheme in the book. The purse is a cute handle purse. I don’t have the book with me and so I don’t know the name of that pattern but was pretty easy once I figured out how to put it together. You crochet it width-wise into a long banana like shape and that crochet up the sides to create handles. Cool, but a little weird to wrap your mind around as one of your first crochet projects done this way. I completed these late last week and they really didn’t take that long to make. I found some cute Fetching hand warmers in Knitty that I thought might be cute in the off white shade to match. That way I would have a complete set of winter wears in time for the cold season.
Ahhhhh! I love it! 🙂 The purse is adorable, but so is everything else. I wish I could be more like you:(
