This weave scarf I made for my mom. It required six tube-like strands knitted in the round that were weaved together. I was working on this even on Christmas Eve to finish it.
With all the red I was wearing, I felt it was just wrong that I wasn’t sporting a beautiful red scarf. So I whipped one up using eyelash, microspun and a mohair-like yarn to create a multidimensional red piece.
I also spent a lot of time the past few weeks trying to learn new crochet techniques. This flower took one night and is supposed to be a pillow accent. Two loops in the back allow for ribbon to be strung through and fastened around a pillow for a decorative look.
Yay! You finished the scarf for your mom! It looks really great. I also like the crocheted flower, it is cute! You could make one to put on the side of your cushion for the Border's Cafe chairs. 😉
