I Wish Upon A Star

I wish up on a star … to see a far away land.
to ride the waves and fly away.
I wish for peace, contentment, love.
a soul mate, a love, a passion.

for roses, chocolate, daffodils
a dawn, a valley, an ocean
for all delights in the world;
for nothing really at all.

Wishes have been met and let
go, truths come out with the wishes of a soul.
Now I realize my ultimate wish,
the strength to journey on.
