Piercing, Deafening Screams

I sat up in my room
and I tried not to cry
It hurt so bad
I almost thought I would die.

And could you excuse the mess
and would you remove your dress.

I walk through the broken glass
cutting the bottoms of my feet
piercing deafening screams
cut just way too deep.

Where should I go now?
I’m lost and confused.

Have you ever been torn
broken in half
swept under the rug
