I went out and bought the new Sims 2 Seasons today. I went home and popped it in. I really like the changing of the seasons. Because the seasons change, the sims need to wear weather-appropriate clothes. That’s fun because they can wear coats and snow boots in the winter and a raincoat in the spring. It also snows and rains at various times. In the winter, a penguin roams the neighborhood!
Also there’s a new Gardening talent that was fun to explore. I created “my family” in the game and my mom is a big gardener so I put her to work immediately. Although, recently I strayed in the story line by adopting a pug (which I do not own in RL).
Other tidbits about the game: the transitions between lots has been improved incredibly. Less wait time means more play. New objects and build items also pretty cool. Apparently you can make a split-level house a lot easier. I haven’t had a chance to play with that feature yet.
Rating: A+ (but I love this game, so I couldn’t score it any less)
