Here’s a nice summary of this weekend’s activities.
Friday I met up with some friends at Take Five in Lakeview. It was totally yummy—I had rotisserie chicken and mashed potatoes. Yummy! It was very good and a fun time as well.
Errands were ran on Saturday. Got a few other things at my fave store Target, including curtains for the living room, frames for my posters and a bed skirt. I also found my local grocery store: Strack & Van Til. Doesn’t that sound like an old time department store or something? It had pretty good prices so that was fun. I came home and cleaned the floors, framed my pictures and ran around doing a lot of other chores before my condo building’s bbq picnic event. I made deviled eggs for the occasion (although I was running late so I didn’t have time for a picture). They were gobbled up which is always good. The night was long but fun and entertaining to meet new people.
On Sunday, I recuperated from my long busy Saturday and didn’t do much of anything. I hung out with my neighbor and watched some movies (since my cable has been out since Saturday afternoon). I ate dinner and fell asleep on the couch. I only got through one set of the Monkey socks pattern so I’m not moving too quickly on those. Oh well, there’s always tonight.
