This Baby Bib O’Love pattern was the simplest ever. Technically I don’t even own the pattern, I just figured it out based on the picture and one line of errata available for Mason-Dixon Knitting. I like how these sweet buttons worked with the colorway so well. My only concern is that the neck isn’t large enough. I ran out of yarn toward the end with the straps so I just hope no baby will be choked because of this bib.
This bib will retire to the Hope Chest, but I do have plans to make a set of these for future baby mamas in the wings. I think it’ll make a really cute gift.
With this project, I am officially done with the month of July for knitting projects. One more FO this week (which should happen with the second baby mobile I’m working on) and I will be caught up for real. That’ll be a good feeling because I was getting a little worried I wouldn’t meet the challenge for this year.
In September, I hope to get ahead on some FOs so I can go into fall with a little leeway room. It would be even better if I completed more projects that just 52 to meet the challenge, but I don’t want to pressure myself too much.
Oh and check out Winnie modeling the bib. Doesn’t he look handsome? I thought about having Ethan try this on, but I didn’t want yarn and animal to be harmed due to the experiment.
