Because I got all confused, I some how mistakenly watched some films from the AFI 400 list instead. Now that’s fine, since eventually I’ll get to it, but I wanted to focus on the last of the AFI 100. Anyways I watched The Birth of a Nation and All Quiet on the Western Front.
The Birth of a Nation is a silent film; it’s also three hours long. Did I mention it was three hours long? I couldn’t get through it. Good thing it wasn’t on the AFI 100. Plus apparently it gets worse from where I left off and is pretty racist (it was already racist up to the point that I watched). All Quiet on the Western Front also didn’t capture my attention. It’s a war movie and those are wearing on me as this list has a number of them.
