Glorious Are You
Glorious are you
your shiny red petals
dew glazes your beaming face.
Glorious are you
tall and strong
in ground, in pot, in vase.
Glorious are you
with eyes seeing
watching over, all around.
Glorious are you
feeding the honey bees
yielding to the lover’s lick.
Glorious are you
rich and rosy
brightening the hillside.
Glorious are you
your wide face smiling
down onto everyone who passes.
