In an effort to have gifts for spur-of-the-moment occasions, I went through a huge phase of making nothing but dishcloths. Check out this stash, huh? Now that’s dedication, or insanity, take your pick. Haha! But actually it’s really come in handy. Just not too long ago I had a request for a dishcloth from my mom. And oooh! look there was one handy. Isn’t that nice?
In other crafting news, the Eyelet Swirls Scarf is moving along successfully. I got through one whole set of the 18-row pattern, and started on the second set. I think I’m going to do two sets of the pattern in each color; switching from purple to gray.
Clessidra has moved to the backseat because I went out and bought some bamboo yarn and now want to make the Cheeky Ribbed Socks from No Sheep For You by Amy R. Singer. I don’t have the ball band so I can’t remember the brand. I’ll post a picture up about it later. I have also moved on to reading Domiknitrix (in my efforts to read all of my knitting books). Very cheeky, very funny, but I haven’t gotten far. More updates later.
