I took Hot Pinkness on her first full ride of the season to the Green City Market. It was in the 60s when I left—definitely doable working up a sweat on a bike. However, the temps dropped to the 50s the closer I got to the lake and the later into the morning it got. It was a pretty chilly day for the market’s Saturday debut.
However, it was a good time. The booths had lots of options—cheeses, breads, milk, meat, flowers and plants, veggies and food for the sampling. I got some Garlic Cheddar cheese that is just delicious. I made a grilled cheese with it and it was soooo good.
Later that day I did some cleaning and got ready to go out. I was sooo tired though, and really should’ve taken a nap. Oh well, there’s always tomorrow.
