Today I voted. That’s right people, I took advantage of early voting. The wait wasn’t too terrible either. I was able to run over to Humboldt Park Library and cast my vote. Because the poling place didn’t open until 9, I worked from home today so I could run out really quick.
At lunch, I took a quick bike ride over to my local library, The Logan Square branch, to get my Chicago Public Library card. I’ve been wanting to look into audiobooks, so the library will be perfect. My first two rentals include The Starter Wife and Memoris of a Geisha. It took a bit to get it onto my iPod. Ineeded to get MP3 to iPod Audiobook Converter so I could compile all the various one-minute tracks into compiled audio tracks.
I also learned a nifty trick today: you can easily convert any file to an audiobook. You also can convert any text to an iTunes-compatible audiobook on a Mac.
