Besides finishing a Swiffer Cozy (or in my case oMop cozy), this weekend I casted on a number of projects, including the Lombard Street Socks (above) and the Hedera Socks (below).
Also I started a second oMop Cozy because I’d like to have a couple of them lying around. Also casted on (but not photographed yet) includes the Dream Swatch Wrap.
I also started and finished Tudora with Misti Cotton Pima Cotton/Silk. I’ve been holding onto this skein of wonderful yarn I conned myself into buying with no purpose. Since I’m leaving for Vegas next weekend, I wanted to bring this with me so I wouldn’t have to bring a whole scarf but I’ll probably need it once I land back here in Chicago.
I think it turned out pretty nice and the button is just too cute. I also finished the Thirassia socks. I know it took me forever. But with running out of yarn and waiting two months for another skein and then the colorway not matching, so having to start over—there were a few snags in the plan.
But it worked out. I liked this skein better then the original. There are specks of pink and yellow that weren’t in the first skein I got. Also I wanted to use a different heel then the one I tried the first time.
Much new knitting ahead of me this week. Yay!
