After finishing Stephanie Pearl-McPhee Casts Off, I was inspired by her suggestion of the Traveler’s Life Afghan (aka, using pieces of yarn from your stash to slowing built an afghan). Similar to a quilt created out of pieces of T-shirts and other remnants, this quilt is built piece by stash piece.
Here’s a close up of my progress. I like that I can see bits of other projects in it. Like the purple is the Mrs. Darcy Cardigan, light blue is my Snow White, bright green is my Kyoto. The bright pink of my Clessidra is hugging the soft purple of my Tudora. My Speckled Moss collection is near my mom’s Shona and my Twinkle Toes. The more rows, the more cool combinations. It’ll be fun to see what this project grows into.
